PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION AGREEMENT

This agreement outlines the terms between Katie Slater Photography (“Photographer”) and the undersigned client (“Client”) for a portrait photography session.

1. Scope of Services

Includes a pre-session inspo board to discuss session goals and creative direction.

Client agrees to the number of hours included in their selected package.

Katie Slater Photography will select and deliver professionally edited, high-resolution images via an online gallery.

The Photographer is not required to deliver every image taken during the session.

2. Payment Terms

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve the session date.

The remaining 50% is due on or before the session date.

Accepted payment methods: electronic transfer, check, or cash.

3. Image Delivery & Editing

Final edited images will be delivered within three weeks of the session.

Rush delivery may be available for an additional fee.

Clients may not edit, alter, filter, crop, or adjust the delivered images in any way.

RAW/unedited files will not be provided.

Once images are delivered, the Client is responsible for downloading and archiving the files. Katie Slater Photography does not guarantee image storage or backups after delivery.

4. Usage Rights

The images are for personal use only.

This includes use on personal social media, holiday cards, and printing for home display.

Any commercial or promotional use (including print sales, advertisements, or resale) requires a separate licensing agreement and fee.

Katie Slater Photography retains full copyright and may use selected images for portfolio, website, social media, and promotional materials unless the Client requests otherwise in writing.

5. Rescheduling & Cancellations

Clients may reschedule if notice is given at least 72 hours in advance.

Rescheduling is subject to availability and must take place within 6 months of the original date.

The 50% deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable beyond the 6-month window.

No-shows or cancellations within 72 hours of the session forfeit the deposit.

6. Emergencies

In the rare event of personal emergency, illness, or other unforeseen circumstance, the Photographer reserves the right to reschedule, refund, or send a trusted substitute photographer.

Every reasonable effort will be made to ensure quality service or provide a full refund if necessary.

7. Limitation of Liability

Katie Slater Photography is not liable for injuries, accidents, or property damage occurring during the session.

In the unlikely event of technical failure or data loss, liability is limited to a full refund or a rescheduled session.
