1. Scope of Services

• Includes a pre-session consultation to discuss brand goals, styling, and creative direction.

• Client agrees to the amount of hours booked within their package selection.

• Katie Slater Photography will select and deliver final, professionally edited, high-resolution images via an online gallery.

• The photographer is not required to deliver every image taken during the session.

2. Payment Terms

• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve the session date.

• The remaining 50% is due on or before the session date.

• Accepted payment methods: electronic transfer, check, or cash.

3. Image Delivery & Editing

• Final edited images will be delivered within three weeks of the session.

• Rush delivery may be available for an additional fee.

• Clients are not permitted to edit, alter, apply filters, crop, or adjust the delivered images in any way.

• RAW/unedited files will not be provided.

• Once delivered, it is the client’s responsibility to download, back up, and archive all files; Katie Slater Photography cannot guarantee image storage or backups after delivery.

4. Usage Rights

• Client is granted digital usage rights for one year from the delivery date for the client business only.

• This includes use for websites, social media, newsletters, and digital marketing.

• Additional or extended usage (including print rights, commercial products, or longer licensing) must be arranged and require an additional fee.

• Katie Slater Photography retains full copyright and may use selected images for portfolio, website, social media, and promotional purposes unless the client requests otherwise in writing.

5. Rescheduling & Cancellations

• Clients may reschedule only if notice is given at least 72 hours in advance.

• Rescheduling is subject to availability and must occur within 3 months of the original session date.

• The 50% deposit remains non-refundable and non-transferable beyond the 3-month window.

• No-shows or last-minute cancellations (within 72 hours) forfeit the deposit.

6. Emergencies

• In the rare case of a personal or family emergency, illness, pregnancy-related issues, COVID, or other unforeseen events, Katie Slater Photography reserves the right to reschedule, refund, or provide a trusted substitute photographer.

• All reasonable efforts will be made to ensure the client receives quality service or a full refund if necessary.

7. Limitation of Liability

• Katie Slater Photography is not liable for injuries, accidents, or property damage during the session.

• In the unlikely event of technical failure or data loss, liability is limited to a refund or rescheduled session.

8. Agreement

By booking a session and submitting the deposit, the client acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined in this agreement.
